Sisra Multi-School
Sign in and find your way around Multi-School
This page covers signing in to Sisra Multi-School, its two roles, managing users and the main screens. Access to Multi-School is separate from access to any school’s Sisra Analytics.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”You need:
- a Multi-School account: Juniper Education sets up the trust’s first one, and a Juniper Admin adds everyone else
- access to the email address your account is registered to
Sign in
Section titled “Sign in”The first time, follow the set-up email that Juniper or your trust’s Juniper Admin sent you. After that:
- Go to multischool.junipereducation.org.
- Enter the email address your account is registered to, and your password.
- If the page asks for a verification code, enter the code from the email Juniper sends you.
The reports open on a default cohort and data collection. See Choose what a report shows.
If the set-up email has not arrived, check your junk or spam folder. Then ask your trust’s Juniper Admin to check your email address in User Management, or email assessmentdashboard.support@junipereducation.org.
Reset or change your password
Section titled “Reset or change your password”| Task | If you sign in on Multi-School’s own page | If you sign in through Juniper Portal |
|---|---|---|
| Reset a forgotten password | On the sign-in page, enter your email address and select Forgotten your password?. Enter the address again and select Reset Password | On the sign-in page, select Forgot your password?, enter your Email and select Submit |
| Change your password while signed in | Select your name at the top right, then Reset Password. Enter your email address and your new password twice, then select Reset Password | Select your avatar, then Profile, Security and Change Password. Enter the new password twice and select Save |
A reset sends you an email with a link. If it does not arrive, check your junk or spam folder.
Switch between accounts
Section titled “Switch between accounts”If you also have accounts at your trust’s schools under the same email address, Juniper Portal lets you move between them without signing out. Select your avatar, then the school or trust under Other accounts. Sign in and switch schools has the details.
A Multi-School account does not open the schools’ Sisra Analytics. Each school gives that access in Juniper Portal: see Give staff access to Sisra.
Check what each role can do
Section titled “Check what each role can do”Multi-School has two roles. Every user has one of them, plus any extra permissions a Juniper Admin gives them.
| Permission | Juniper User | Juniper Admin |
|---|---|---|
| View KS4 reports | Yes | Yes |
| View KS5 reports | Yes | Yes |
| View users | Not by default | Yes |
| Manage users | Not by default | Yes |
| Manage data collections | Not by default | Yes |
| Manage school joining dates | Not by default | Yes |
| See the reports during the results embargo (Results Day Embargo Exemption) | Not by default | Yes |
KS4 and KS5 reports appear only if your trust has them. A Juniper Admin can give a Juniper User any of the other permissions, and can take some permissions away from another Juniper Admin. Juniper’s help article on Portal user roles calls the two roles User and Admin. Juniper’s help articles also call the embargo permission Results Day Embargo Reports.
Manage users
Section titled “Manage users”You need the Juniper Admin role, or the manage users permission.
Add a user
Section titled “Add a user”- Select User Management, then Add User.
- Enter the person’s forename and surname, and their Email Address.
- Choose their Role: Juniper User or Juniper Admin.
- Select Add User.
Multi-School emails the person their sign-in details. Check the email address before you add the user: it is where the email goes, and the address they sign in with.
Change a user’s details or permissions
Section titled “Change a user’s details or permissions”- Select User Management, then the person’s name.
- Under User Details or Permissions, select Edit.
- Make the change, then select Submit.
User Details holds the name and email address. Permissions holds the role and any single permissions. For example, give Results Day Embargo Exemption to a Juniper User who needs the reports on results day.
Remove a user’s access
Section titled “Remove a user’s access”When someone leaves the trust:
- Select User Management, then the person’s name.
- Under User Details, select Edit.
- Enter an Inactive From date, or choose one with the calendar icon.
- Select Submit.
From that date the person cannot sign in to Multi-School. User Management keeps them in its list of inactive users. To give access back, clear Inactive From and select Submit.
This removes Multi-School access only. If the person can also open a school’s Sisra Analytics, remove that in Juniper Portal as well.

Section titled “Find your way around”| Screen | How to get there | What it is for | Who sees it |

| Live chat | The support widget at the bottom right | Chat with Juniper’s support team. The help centre says live chat comes with the Priority and Complete support tiers; on the On Demand tier, you leave a message | Juniper Admins |
Choose what a report shows
Section titled “Choose what a report shows”Every report has a Cohort list and a Data Collection list above it. From September to December, reports open on the most recent leavers cohort. From January to August, they open on the current year 11, or year 13 at KS5.
Reports open on the data collection a Juniper Admin set as the Default for that year group. The Data Collection list shows only collections whose Display in Reports setting is Yes.
To narrow a report, select Filters, tick the groups or schools you want, and select Apply Filters. Filters stay in place as you move between reports. Select X on a filter to remove it.
KS4 trust reports and KS5 trust reports describe the other controls.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”The set-up email never arrived. Check your junk or spam folder. Ask a Juniper Admin to check your email address in User Management, or email assessmentdashboard.support@junipereducation.org.
You cannot see User Management or Settings. These are for Juniper Admins. Ask one of your trust’s Juniper Admins.
A data collection is missing from the list. Its Display in Reports setting is No, or no school has published it yet. See Choose which data collections staff see.
You cannot open the reports on results day. During the summer results embargo, only users with Results Day Embargo Exemption can see them. Ask a Juniper Admin.
Juniper Portal shows “Bad Gateway” or “Error 500”. Go to admin.junipereducation.org/auth/logout to sign out fully, then sign in again.
